Tulsa Poster Project 1988 Concert Posters

And now for the 90s...

During this period, many promoters began to use various sizes and often multiple designs for the same show. There often were several different sizes, printed on different colored stocks, thick and thin stocks etc. for one show. Sometimes the ratios are different for the Posters and Handbills so the design shown may appear stretched or squished. If an image shown is slightly different from an example you have, this is probably why.
I will generally show one example for an event and where there is a different design for the same event, will post both wherever possible. I will always try to list the Poster of the show primarily, and the Handbill or Flyer if the Poster is not available to me. Because of the multiplicity of formats, descriptive information will be limited. Only the act and Artist will be provided for the most part. Feel free to  email  me with any questions, comments or corrections.
As always, any suggestions are welcome. Thanks and enjoy.
